Does the person wearing the tag need a phone or an app?
No. The QR code is passive — no battery, no pairing, nothing to charge. The person wearing the bracelet needs no phone and no app. A helper who finds them scans the code with their own phone camera, and it opens in a browser. Nobody has to download anything or create an account.
What does a helper see when they scan the bracelet?
They see only the safe-return information you chose to add — a first name, a short note such as "I have dementia, please help me get home", and a message box that reaches you. They do not see your phone number, your email, your name or your home address. Every message relays through MyTags.
Is this a GPS tracker that shows where my loved one is?
No. A MyTags tag is a QR code, not a GPS or Bluetooth tracker. It cannot report a location on its own and cannot be used to follow anyone. It works only when a person chooses to scan it — and at that point the finder can share where they are, if they want to.
Can I change the information without ordering a new bracelet?

Do I have to put a home address on the tag?
