What is a lost and found QR sticker for electronics?
It is a small QR code you stick on a laptop, camera, drone or headphones. A finder scans it with any phone camera and sends you a message. Nothing personal is printed on the sticker — your name, phone number and email stay hidden, because every message routes through MyTags.
Does the sticker show my name or phone number?
No. The sticker carries only the code. When someone scans your laptop or camera, they see the item and a message box — never your name, number, email or address. You reply through MyTags, so no personal details are exchanged in either direction.
Does the finder need an app to return my gear?
No. Any phone camera opens the tag in a browser. The person who finds your headphones or tablet installs nothing and creates no account. They scan, type a message, and you get a push and email alert at once.
Is a QR sticker a GPS tracker for my laptop?
No, and that is on purpose. A MyTags sticker is a passive QR code — no battery, no radio, nothing to charge or pair. It cannot report your location and cannot be used to track you. It speaks only when a person chooses to scan it.
