An autism ID tag is a small QR code you place on a shoe, wristband or bag. If your child or adult who wanders is found, a helper scans the code with any phone and can message you at once. Unlike an engraved bracelet, nothing on it can be read aloud — no name, no phone number, no address — and you can update the notes behind it any time from the app.
Does the tag show my child's name or our home address?
No. A private QR tag prints no readable details at all. The helper never sees your child’s name, your phone number, your email or your home address. They see only the notes you choose to share and a message box that reaches you, so a difficult moment never turns into exposed personal information.
Does the person who finds them need to install an app?
