Let anyone reach you to move your car — without your number

A MyTags car QR code sticker for parking gives your windshield a way to reach you — with nothing private printed on it. A neighbour scans the code, sends you a message, and you move the car. Your phone number, email and name stay hidden the whole time.

  • No number on the dash
  • Free to start
  • Finder needs no app
  • Not a GPS tracker

The problem

Every way to be reachable leaves you exposed

When you park where you might need to move, you are stuck with two bad choices. Leave your phone number on the dashboard, and anyone who walks past can copy it. Leave nothing, and a blocked neighbour has no way to reach you — so the horn, the shouting or the tow truck takes over. A car QR code sticker for parking removes the trade-off.

A number on the dash

A phone number left in the windshield can be photographed by anyone in the car park. It feeds spam calls, scam texts and, sometimes, unwanted attention long after you have driven away.

Nothing at all

Leave the dash blank and a neighbour you are blocking is helpless. The gate stays shut, tempers rise, and the only options left are a scratched note or a call to the towing company.

The tow that could wait

Most "wrongly parked" cars would be moved in two minutes if the driver could be reached. Without a channel, a small inconvenience turns into a clamp, a fine, or a damaged bumper.

The fix

A scan-to-contact sticker on the glass

Put the QR sticker on your windshield and it carries no readable text. When a neighbour, a valet or a shopkeeper scans it, they see a page about your car and a box to message you. You get an instant push and email alert — and can add WhatsApp, Slack or a webhook too. Every reply relays through MyTags, so your details never appear to either side. See exactly how the privacy-first relay keeps your number hidden.

What the finder sees

  • That this is your car, and any note you left — "please call before towing" or an ICE line
  • A message box that reaches you the instant they send it
  • Nothing to install — any phone camera opens the tag

What stays hidden

  • Your phone number — nothing to read, nothing to copy off the glass
  • Your name and your email address
  • Your home address — and your location; the tag is not a GPS tracker
Where it helps

More than a parking note

Parking is the everyday reason, but the same sticker earns its place in a dozen small moments — a blocked gate, a minor bump, an emergency, or a stranger doing you a favour. Start with a free digital tag, then add a weatherproof one for the glass.

Blocked in

Someone you are blocking

You double-parked for five minutes and a neighbour needs to get out. Instead of a horn or a note left on the glass, they scan and message you — and you move the car before it becomes a row.

Tow risk

A no-parking warning

A shopkeeper or building manager can reach you before they call a tow truck. One scan turns "clamp it" into "please move it" — cheaper for you and calmer for everyone.

Minor bump

A small accident

A trolley rolls into your door or a driver taps your bumper. An honest person who wants to own up can message you on the spot, without hunting for a number that is not there.

Lights on

A helpful heads-up

Headlights left on, a window down before rain, a slow tyre — good samaritans notice these things. A scannable tag gives them a way to tell you before the damage is done.

Emergency

ICE contact

After a serious incident, first responders often need to reach a driver or a family member fast. A note on the tag can carry an in-case-of-emergency line without printing it for the whole street to read.

Built to last

For the glass itself, premium weatherproof windshield stickers in the shop resist sun, rain and washing — the same private platform behind them, just built for the outdoors.

01

Create a digital tag

Make a digital QR tag in the app — free and live at once. Print it on a label, or order a weatherproof windshield sticker from the shop.

02

Stick it on the glass

Place it inside the windshield or a side window, facing out. Any phone camera can open it — no app and no signup for whoever needs to reach you.

03

Get the message

When someone scans it, a push and email land instantly. Reply through MyTags to sort it out — your phone number stays private throughout.

Questions

Car QR stickers, answered

Is my phone number shown when someone scans the sticker?

No. Your phone number is never shown. A neighbour or a passer-by sees your car page and a message box; when they write, the message routes through MyTags. Your number, email and name stay hidden the whole time — in both directions.

How does someone ask me to move my car without my number?

They scan the QR sticker with any phone camera, which opens your car page in a browser. They type a short message — "you are blocking my gate" — and you get an instant push and email alert. You reply through MyTags, so no numbers are ever exchanged.

Do I still need to leave a phone number on the dashboard?

No, and that is the point. A number written on the dash can be photographed by anyone walking past and used for spam calls or worse. The sticker carries only the code, so a stranger can reach you without ever reading your details.

What if there is a minor accident or an emergency?

The same scan reaches you. If someone taps your bumper, notices a fluid leak, or needs an emergency contact after an incident, they can message you at once. You can also leave a note on the tag — an ICE contact or a "please call, do not tow" line.

Will the sticker survive sun, rain and a car wash?

A digital tag is free and works anywhere a phone has a camera. For the windshield itself, weatherproof windshield stickers are available in the shop — built for heat, rain and daily driving so the code stays scannable outdoors.

Does the person who scans need an app or an account?

No. Any phone camera opens the tag in a browser. The finder installs nothing and signs up for nothing to send you a message. It works the same for a neighbour, a valet, a tow operator or a stranger in a car park.
