How it works

Three steps. About two minutes.

No hardware to order, no battery to charge, no pairing.

01

Make a tag

Create a digital tag and it's live instantly. Print it, engrave it, stick it on — the design and the placement are yours.

02

Someone scans it

Any phone camera opens your tag's page in a browser. The finder installs nothing and signs up for nothing.

03

You hear about it

An alert lands in the app, on WhatsApp, in Slack or on your own webhook — with the message and where it came from.

Tags

Two ways to get a tag

The same platform sits behind both. Start digital in seconds, then order something built for rain and roads when you want it.

Digital

Make it yourself, right now

Create a tag in the app and it is live immediately. Print it on a label, engrave it, or add it to a sticker you already have.

  • Active in seconds — nothing to ship, nothing to wait for
  • Print, engrave or embed it wherever it suits the object
  • Identical features to a physical tag — no lesser tier

Privacy

Reachable. Not exposed.

A finder gets everything they need to return your thing, and nothing they could use to find you. Every message routes through MyTags.

What the finder sees

  • What the item is, and any note you left for them
  • A message box that reaches you immediately
  • Anything you chose to publish — a reward, an instruction, a document

What never leaves your account

  • Your phone number and your email address
  • Your name, your address, your home
  • Private notes, invoices and warranties you keep on the item
In the wild

Where a tag earns its place

Parking

The car you blocked in

A stranger scans the sticker on your windscreen instead of leaning on the horn. You're moving the car before it becomes an argument.

Travel

The bag that took a detour

Ground staff scan the tag on the handle and reach you directly — no counter queue, no claim form, no guessing whose bag it is.

Pets

The cat who went exploring

Her collar carries a tag with her name, her meds and a way to message you — without printing your address on your pet.

Everyday

The keys on the pavement

A café owner scans, messages you, and holds them at the counter. Cheaper than a locksmith and faster than retracing your morning.

Alerts

You hear about it immediately.

Pick where the ping lands. Every scan arrives with the message, the time and, if the finder shares it, the place and a photo.

In-app pushWhatsAppSlackWebhooks
  • Real-time, wherever you are

The moment a tag is scanned, the alert is on its way.

  • Know what actually happened

What, where and why — with an optional photo from the finder.

  • Silence the noise, not the signal

Block repeat scans, skip the non-urgent ones, or mute a tag for a while.

Questions

Before you sign up

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Create a digital tag, print or engrave it yourself, and it works the second it's scanned. Physical tags are an option, not a requirement.

Does the finder need the app?

No. Any phone camera opens the tag's page in a browser. They can message you without downloading or signing up for anything.

Is this GPS tracking?

No — and that's the point. There's no radio and no battery, so a tag costs nothing to run and never reports on you. It speaks only when a person scans it.

What can a stranger learn about me?

Only what you publish on the tag. Messages route through MyTags, so your number and email are never revealed — in either direction.

Can I keep documents with an item?

Yes. Invoices, warranties, service notes and reminders live with the tag — private by default, published only if you say so.

What does it cost to try?

Nothing. Sign up free, tag something you'd hate to lose, and see how it feels before you tag the rest.
