Do I need an app to use the car QR sticker?

Is my mobile number shown on the sticker?
No. Your mobile number, name and email are never printed on the sticker and never shown to the person who scans it. They see only a message box, and every message relays through MyTags. Your number stays private on both sides.
Does the finder need internet, and does it work offline?
The person scanning does need a data or Wi-Fi connection to open the page and send the message — the same connection any phone camera link needs. You do not need to be online at that moment; the alert reaches you by push and email as soon as your phone connects.
